Ravensthorpe Depot
Our commitment to the Ravensthorpe Nickel Operations and the Ravensthorpe business community was confirmed this week with the purchase of an industrial property situated at 1 Martin Street Ravensthorpe. It is our intention to base a 20 tonne Franna crane with a permanently based crane operator in Ravensthorpe. Depending on demand we will increase our fleet as required. Our fleet of cranes from Kalgoorlie will be used as backup.

25 tonne Franna Mac 25
The new 25 tonne Franna has arrived and decked out ready for work. It will be based in our Kalgoorlie depot and available for long or short term hire.

80 tonne Liebherr LTM 1080
We recently took delivery of a late model 80 tonne Liebherr all terrain crane to be based at our Kalgoorlie depot. The crane comes fully equipped with lifting equipment and additional counter weight transported by a purpose built trailer. Hourly rates include all counter weight configurations without the cost of additional trucks.

Mark Corradetti joins Goldfields team as a Crane Controller
Mark Corradetti, formerly Brambles, Boom Logistics joins the Goldfields team as a Crane Controller. Mark brings to the company ten years experience in the crane hire industry.
Goldfields Crane Hire has restructured their staffing levels in a way to keep up with the increasing demand. As a service-based crane hire company they believe that it is very important that when enquiries are made that a response comes from someone with crane experience.
Chris Fairman now takes on the role of Crane Supervisor. This will ensure that all clients are continually liaised with, including project supervision and site inspections. These changes can only be seen as an improvement to the business and help them in achieving their vision of "Being the best provider of cost-effective lifting solutions to the Goldfields."

New 25-tonne crane to join GCH fleet
To keep up with increasing demand for larger capacity non-slewing cranes, we have ordered a new All Terrain 25-tonne Franna crane due to be delivered in October 2004.
