Site Analysis
Site Analysis
Site Analysis is a detailed measurement of the majority of lift requirements throughout a site or specific equipment. All measurements are entered into a database detailing the crane requirements, rigging and safety management.
- All lifts measured are to ensure the correct crane is supplied to perform the task safely and efficiently.
- All lifts are categorised into two groups, Standard & Critical.
- Standard lifts are 0–89% of rated loads.
- Critical lifts are 90–99% of rated loads and stipulate a requirement of a Lift Study and Job Hazard Analysis.
- All multi-crane lifts are also categorised as Critical lifts.
- Lift Studies and JHAs can be hyperlinked for future reference.
Crane Planner
Our Safety Management Software Systems (Crane Planner) allows us to create lift planning and crane selection specifications. Goldfields Crane Hire's fleet of eight cranes are included in the software library. This software selects appropriate cranes configurations for the required task. Crane Planner generates graphical displays of lifting tasks with obstructions and allows lift simulation that will check all clearances. Crane planning can be requested, as required and is included in all planning of Critical lifts (90-99% of rated Load). Crane planner is included in all Site Specific Analysis planning.
Rigging Planner
Our Safety Management Software Systems (Rigging Planner) is a powerful program designed to create fast, accurate rigging plans. A 3D design program lets us specify the load and hitch type, gives us the tensions on each of the slings, and checks to see what hardware is required to take the load. The software allows us to add hardware to groups for specific jobs or rigging crews. The 2D Sketchpad program lets us quickly create a professional rigging drawing for any rigging situation, complete text and detailed rigging components. Rigging plans can be exported to the crane planner program to provide simulation of complex loads with rigging and crane selection in one graphical display.
